Brent Clowater is a Canadian painter based in Medicine Hat, Alberta. His work is inspired by the places he encounters and photographs, from familiar neighbourhoods and towns to storefronts, landscapes and overlooked corners of everyday life.

Originally from Fredericton, Brent spent fourteen years immersed in Vancouver's contemporary art community before moving to Alberta. His work has been exhibited extensively and is held in private collections across Canada and beyond.
